| Due to numerous inquiries I am posting this info for people interested in trading in their broken bear from Hurricane areas. Yes I do take water logged Teddys and Grubbys as trade in or repairs. You can just send the bear. It is helpful if you do the following, although it is not necessary. If Teddy has been in salt water: Unscrew the 4 screws on his back and take off the back cover. Submerge anything exposed to salt water in fresh water (including tape player and electronics if they were exposed to salt water) submerge just long enough to get salt water off everything. Dry him inside and out in front of a cool air source (fan) NOT WARM AIR AS IN HAIR DRYER. The pack him and send him. You can pull apart fabric and foam to dry. This helps stop the salt water damage and mold |
